Student Placement:
Those students who have previous training will be evaluated and placed with Mr. Mann's approval, in a class with other students who have achieved the same level of technique and accomplishment.
No student will be placed by the number of years he or she has studied, but only by what he or she has accomplished in that period of time.
Class
Structure:
..
All classes are structured with allocated time for
barre, floor and center work. All students, regardless of age,
learn the proper names and techniques of each dance step. Age
groups and technique levels are separated, as each age and
level learn at a different rate of speed. The studios are so
designed with raised floors and mirrors as to aid in proper
teaching.
We have a professional staff of
"Dance
Educators" who have been selected not only for their own performance ability, but more importantly, because of their exceptional ability to communicate their skills to our students.
Student Attire:
..
The Center's policy concerning students attire is based
upon tradition, but is found on the necessity of the teachers
ability to see muscular movements and spinal alignment
clearly. Wearing the proper dance wear will enable you
to benefit the most from your training.
Missed Lessons:
..
Missed lessons are frowned upon. All lessons at
the Center are planned in advance and adjustments in that plan
must be made for each student who misses a lesson.
The progress of the class will not be hindered by any
individual student, nor will any student be held back from the
more rapid advancements by his or her classmates.
School
